journal entry

More than just ‘an About”.

I’m torn between two irresistible habits:
hoarding shiny curiosities from the far corners of the web,
and letting my own stories slip into the mix when no one’s watching.

One moment you’re admiring an 18th-century door or a scandalous quote,
the next — you’ve wandered straight into my fiction.
It happens. My characters don’t knock.

Case in point: I recently received a memo from
The Security Committee of the Fictional Realm
about a missing character who may or may not be hiding somewhere in other works of fiction – as a stowaway.

I am a story teller. I write fiction. My keyboard is in tune with my imagination. I slip into the realm of the imagination.

Reality here is porous.

I slip into the realm of the imagination.
Some finds are “real” with genuine links.
Some are my tales. They emerge randomly and erratically.

However, in the spirit of dull conformity, I will put a small tales by sosanni logo on my posts that house my story telling.

Why?

As a warning. I believe adding a small, discreet sosanni logo as a warning on the posts where I tell tales is the responsible thing to do.

My characters? A motley crew. And they often leave a trail. My tales? Messy and scattered. They leave their mark.

So you don’t stumble over their empty cocktail glasses, stacks of unwashed dishes, crumpled letters not meant to be read by others,
strewn clothes, filled ashtrays, fairy dust, or dragon poop.

Welcome to The Mothership. Enjoy. Subscribe. It goes perfectly with a double latte or a cocktail.

Imagination is a parallel universe of sorts – one we all have access to. Enjoy the ride.
